Italian mahogany grotto stool, the seat is in the form of a scallop shell raised on four seahorse shaped supports, 74cm tall.

Large piece of shell seat back has been broken and poorly repaired. Crack to the shell at side. Front leg has a missing piece to foot (seahorse tail).
