HW Mortimer & Co., London (Gunmaker to His Majesty) pair of 54 bore flintlock boxlock pocket pistols, c. 1775 - 80, each with turn-off three stage cannon barrel action decorated with rococo ornament and signed 'Mortimer, London', engraved sliding trigger guard, safety catch, with figured flat-sided walnut butt inlaid with Damascened scrollwork, London proof mark and foreigner's mark, 19.5cm long.
