Pair of Meissen sweetmeat dishes in the form of reclining male and female figures in 18th century dress, each holding a floral encrusted basket, polychrome decorated on scrolling base, blue crossed swords mark and incised 2872 and 2875, 17cm long.

Male: Left thumb is lacking. There is a chip to the bottom corner of the jacket. Petals lacking to flowerheads.
Female: Toes lacking. Petals lacking to flowerheads.
