British army uniform, a red tunic jacket with Robert Gibb of Kirkcaldy label, having Royal Highlanders Black Watch buttons, Fifeshire collar badges, bullion wire knot epaulettes, brown leather shoulder belt with Fifeshire Volunteer Rifles badge having lions head boss and whistle with pouch, brown leather waist belt with Fifeshire Volunteer Rifles buckle, also a pair of trousers and a black tunic with red stripe trousers.
Provenance: reputed to be the uniform of Captain James McConnochie.
