Archive collection of deeds, leases, releases, assignments, legacy documents, wills, etc. relating to various lands in Adderbury & elsewhere including Sir Thomas Cotton Sheppherd & Revd. Holford Cotton, others the Revd. Holford Cotton Risley. Also a large folder of 1907-1908 documents. Quantity of correspondence re. the sale of Deddington Manor House, the family home, letters from Martin W. Cotton Risley & Ethel B. Risley at Deddington, together with legal instructions from Hearn, the family solicitor. Power of attorney, letters from Horation Percy Symonds, Physician of Beaumont Street, Oxford, letters from the Penshurst Park Estate, Kent, etc. 
This collection  was salvaged from an old law office clearance over 30 years ago. (The Bodleian Library, Archive & Manuscripts in Oxford, also hold a collection of the Risley family papers & documents).
