The third vol. concludes with W. Durrant Cooper (Ed.), Seven Letters Written by Sterne & His Friends, Hitherto Unpublished, 23pp, pres. copy from the editor, Printed for Private Circulation, 1844. As noted elsewhere & found in other copies of this edition, the page numbering in vol. 1 begins at p25, a printer's error. Vol. 3 concludes, again in error, with "end of the ninth volume".
