Bindings appear contemporary. Both vols' boards rubbed and faded especially towards the edges. Some seperation to stitching between spines and boards and gilt lettering rubbed and lacking in places. Bookplates to end-papers. Foxing to title pages and interior pages yellowed. Vol 1s folding map, edges lightly foxed but plate generally good.
