Japanese katana sword having curving 68cm long blade, iron tsuba, gilded fuchi, the tang not accessible, fish skin grip, sword length 95cm, with leather bound scabbard. Provenance Brigadier Cornelius Joseph Tobin CBE of the 3rd/2nd Punjab Regiment Indian Army Ordnance Corps (1910-1998).

Blade visibly bent when looking down the blade, some dirt/rust spots to blade.
Handle will not come off.
