Dec. paper covered brds. (chipping & wear but contents good). Skorpion, Moscow, 1912. 1st ed. of an important early Russian monograph on this great illustrator. Beardsley's influence on Russian artists of the "Silver Age" is considerable. In addition to a fine selection of the drawings, this book contains translations of Beardsley`s work, memoirs of Beardsley, his letters and a bibliography of the published work. Mikhail Kuzmin translated Beardsley's poems "The Three Musicians" and "The Ballad of a Barber" into Russian for this collection.
