Orig. dark cloth, adhesions to front free endpaper. 2nd imp., 1950; with two typescript letters signed by Niall & a manuscript letter from Barbara Greg, the illustrator, who has also signed the half title; also signed 1st eds. in d.w's of Ian Niall, Pastures New, 1952 & Fresh Woods, 1951, each again illustrated by Barbara Greg & these with another short manuscript letter by Niall.
