Three Chinese porcelain Qianlong (1711 - 1799) famille rose octagonal bowls, red seal mark to the turquoise enamelled base and probably of the period, painted to the exterior with winged beasts, floral motifs and scrollwork on a rose ground, yellow ruyi border above a blue Greek key border to the flared circular foot, the interior enamelled with an iron red five claw dragon, two phoenix and a flaming pearl amidst clouds and flames on a yellow ground, 7cm and 8cm high, and 16.5cm and 19cm wide.  (3)

There are prominent losses/fading to the gilding on the rims of all three bowls. There is a chip to the rim of the largest bowl. There is a chip to the underside of the smaller bowl. There are nibbles to the underside of the other smaller bowl. There is age-related fading to the glaze of all, mainly to the wells. This is more noticeable to the largest bowl and one of the smaller bowls. There are some minor age-related losses to the polychrome on all three. There is crazing to the underside of all three. There is age-related staining/surface marks to all three, again, more prominent to the largest bowl.
