Tipped into the front endpapers is a manuscript "In Memoriam" to Richard Poole (1819-1883) (of Hanley) together with related & other press cuttings & a 28 line manuscript poem "In Memory of Richard Poole" composed by Mrs. E. J. Leek, Hanley, 9th April 1883.
