By the fell axe I was cut down, and borne toward the Guid Auld Town, St Giles' Kirk my home, An arch therein in sober mood, More than five hundred years I stood, Nor deem'd I e'er should room....', 8cm diameter, held in a circular mahogany case. Comes with accompanying note 'Possibly presented C.1886 to commemorate the Edinburgh Exhibition'.
