Japanese Fukugawa oval dish (Meiji, 1868 - 1912) with wavy rim, decorated with blossoms and birds in foliage, in Kutani and Imari colours, character marks to the underside, 23.5cm wide, and a Canton famille rose spill vase in typical colours, unmarked, 14.5cm high. (2)

Dish: There are small chips and nibbles to the rim of the dish. The gilt has perished to the border. There is age-related staining and crazing to the underside of the dish.
Vase: There are losses to the gilt to the rim of the vase. There is crazing to the interior. There are small age-related losses and damage to the polychrome in areas.
