Victorian silver trophy prize cup, the ornate Rococo style repousse body inscribed '5th Lancashire Artillery Volunteers Blackburn Challenge Cup Presented by James Thompson Esq Mayor of Blackburn for competition by the members of the above corps at their annual carbine contests, Ranges 200 and 300 yards Seven shots at each range, the cup to become the property of any member who shall win it twice in succession or three times in all, August 1866' fully hallmarked for Henry Holland (of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater), London 1866, 26cm tall, 734g gross.
