Edinburgh, William Creech, 1778 (2nd ed.) & 1779. Cullen was a significant figure in the Scottish Enlightenment, he was David Hume's own physician & his students included Benjamin Rush, a signer of the U.S. Declaration of Independence & John Morgan who founded the first medical school in Colonial America.
