HUNTER A. (Ed). Culina Famulatrix Medicinae or Receipts in Modern Cookery With a Medical Commentary Written by Ignotus. Eng. frontis of a fine pig (added?). Rebacked qtr. leather. York, 1806. The dedication is "To those gentlemen who freely pay two guineas for a turtle dinner at the tavern when they might have a more wholesome one at home for ten shillings". Contains many recipes with entertaining comments thereon. A pencil note on the title implies that "Ignotus" may be J. Williams.
