Chinese Kangxi-style blue and white crackle glaze bowl (Qing Dynasty, late 19th century), the exterior with five claw dragons chasing the flaming pearl with clouds and other symbols, within oxidised bands, the interior with flowerheads to the rim and another flaming pearl amongst clouds to the well, earlier Dynasty character marks to the underside, 12cm high and 29cm diameter.

More Information

There are a few hairline cracks and stress lines running from the rim to the lower part of the bowl. There is age-related staining and crazing spots to the bowl interior, with further stress lines to the well.
