Charles II period oak Wainscot chair, probably South Yorkshire origin, early to mid 17th century, with scrolled top rail and back rest, inscribed 1640 below, flanked by scroll ears above bobbin supports, scroll armrests, plank seat, on bobbin and plain supports united by beam understretchers, 116cm high.
