An extensive archive of documents, correspondence, legal papers, inventory, pedigrees & plans including Sand Hutton Inventory 1899 bound books numbered 1 & 2, gold blocking to front covers being inventory of the heirloomed property comprising household furniture, pictures, coins, china, jewellery, books, silver & plated goods, stable & garden, etc. etc. Listed room by room. A red ledger of a valuation of all the silver plate at Sir James Walker's Sand Hutton Nov. 1st 1883, £1,964.00, diamonds & tiara held in Beverley Bank £1,560.00, one page listing The Doncaster Cup 1793. Pontefract Race Cup 1804, Beverly Cup 1860, also gold coins & seals. 1883 small exercise book inventory of articles found in Sir James Walker's private drawers. 1803 Estate plan of Mr. Benjamin B. Thompson property, Melton. The large vellum probate will & codicils of Sir James Walker 1883. 1912 large vellum release of Sir James Milo Walker to Rear Admiral Charles Francis Walker, 81 pages, signed by both. Fascinating Yorkshire & local history lot.  (The baronet died in 1930 & all came crashing down. The Hall is no more. It was occupied by the Army or PoW's during the war & was demolished 1950).
