GOSCHEN SIR EDWARD, British Ambassador to Berlin at the commencement of WWI.  A substantial collection of Sir Edward Goschen`s personal papers, documents & manuscript items from pre World War I and into the 1920`s, mostly relative to his Austrian estate; much in German. Pre-war legal documents & copy documents mainly re. the family estate, Schloss Tentschach, including estate accounts and much re post-war claims for Austrian government compensation for the wartime confiscation of the property, detailed schedules, accounts, invoices, receipts etc. With other ephemeral items relative to Sir Otto Niemeyer incl. invitations, seating plans, menus, visiting cards (Vienna Debate, 1922) etc.
